Ryzen Threadripper Pro 5995WX appeared on the benchmark website
A few days ago, two Ryzen Threadripper Pro processors appeared on the distributed computing platform MilkyWay@Home, namely Ryzen Threadripper Pro 5995WX and Ryzen Threadripper Pro 5945WX. Ryzen Threadripper Pro 5995WX has 64 cores and 128 threads, Ryzen Threadripper Pro 5945WX has 12 cores and 24 threads. This should be the first time this series of products based on the Zen 3 architecture has been monitored.
Twitter user @BenchLeaks found that Ryzen Threadripper Pro 5995WX appeared again today, this time on the Puget Systems benchmarking website, where Metashape 1.0, Agisoft Metashape Pro 1.7.3 was tested. The software creates 3D content based on images. The four tests are all scheduled rendering scenes. The content is a park map (8601.3 seconds), a school model (2250.4 seconds), a rock model (156.6 seconds), and a school map (608 seconds).
This time also leaked the platform code name of the Ryzen Threadripper Pro 5000 series processor, named “Sharkstooth-CGL”. Confidential AMD documents show that the Ryzen Threadripper 5000 series (Chagall) and Ryzen Threadripper Pro 5000 series (Chagall Pro) were released in November 2021 and the first quarter of 2022, respectively.
