Rumors say Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 will be the world’s first phone with a glass display
Samsung is currently one of the technology companies on the market that mainly promotes the development of foldable device categories. Although the company’s Galaxy Fold was not a success as imagined, it still increased its investment in foldable device development.
Samsung is currently planning to release the Galaxy Fold 2. According to the actual photos of the leaked device on Twitter, this device does not use the horizontal folding method like the Galaxy Fold. Instead, it chooses to use the flip-fold design like the Motorola Razr. Makes the Galaxy Fold 2 look like a new foldable device from Samsung.
It can be confirmed that the Galaxy Fold2 leaked not long ago will use an ultra-thin glass cover for the first time in the world, replacing plastic materials. The screen looks flatter and has less wrinkles. In fact, this is the correct cover material for foldable phones. pic.twitter.com/BS73BCsA4N

The Galaxy Fold 2 has another important change from the previous generation, and that is the material of the case of this device. According to the well-known leaker, the Galaxy Fold 2 will no longer use the first-generation plastic case, and will instead use an ultra-thin glass case, which will make the expanded screen look flatter and reduce “Folds” caused by folding.
The dual camera of the Galaxy Fold 2 is located on the back of the device. When you fold the device, there will be a small auxiliary screen on the back of the device to display notifications. When the device is expanded, there will be a camera above. At the same time, the device will be equipped with a Type-C interface, but there is no 3.5mm headphone jack. There have been rumors that the Galaxy Fold 2 will support the S Pen. Samsung is expected to officially announce the device at MWC 2020.
