Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 successor SM8450 leaked: based on 4nm process, lower power consumption and stronger performance
Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 is the flagship processor launched by Qualcomm at the end of last year. It is also one of the best processors in the Android ecosystem. However, Qualcomm is also preparing a new flagship processor code-named SM8450, which should be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 9XX mobile processor according to past naming conventions.
Well-known whistleblower @evleaks broke the SM8450 hardware parameter information in advance on Twitter. This processor is based on a 4nm process, so it has lower power consumption and higher performance.

Compared with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888, SM8450 is obviously better in terms of hardware configuration, especially with upgraded 5G network support, that is, Qualcomm Snapdragon X65 (Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 integrated with millimeter-wave or 5G frequency below 6GHz) Is the Snapdragon X60 5G modem).
The GPU upgrade from Qualcomm Adreno 660 to Adreno730 is also a substantial improvement. The DSP upgrade from Spectra 580 to Spectra 680 and the Qualcomm FastConnect 6900 subsystem supporting Bluetooth 5.2 and WiFi 6E are also worthy of attention. However, since it has been upgraded to the 4nm process, it stands to reason that the power consumption has also been significantly reduced and performance can be improved. However, the specific release time is not yet clear.
