Qualcomm releases FastConnect 6900, 6700 connection system to integrate WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2

Qualcomm officially released two new mobile connection systems, FastConnect 6900 and FastConnect 6700, which will integrate wireless technologies including low-latency WiFi 6E standard and Bluetooth 5.2.

Since both FastConnect 6900 and FastConnect 6700 support WiFi 6E, they can both be connected to the 6GHz band network cable. FastConnect 6900 can provide data transmission speeds up to 3.6Gbps (FastConnect 6700 supports up to 3Gbps). WiFi 6 has added support for the 1200MHz spectrum, so WiFi 6E supports twice as much spectrum as the latter.

Compared with other WiFi frequency bands, WiFi 6E can bring users lower network latency and faster network speed. At the same time, when multiple devices are connected to the router, the network experience obtained by users is better than using other frequency bands. Of course, you must have a WiFi 6 router.

In addition, the Bluetooth 5.2 technology integrated into these two connection systems can bring a better sound quality experience to the Bluetooth headset, while the latency is further reduced.

Qualcomm said that when users use the 5G network, they can also use the 4-stream dual-band synchronization technology integrated into the connected system to obtain lower network latency and faster network speed.

It is expected that next year’s Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 processor may be equipped with FastConnect 6900, but according to the frequency of Qualcomm’s current processor update, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 processor may be released at the end of this year.
