Qualcomm and ESL Gaming co-organized event will start on April 12
After announcing a few days ago to work with ESL Gaming to create the Snapdragon Pro series of events, Qualcomm has confirmed that the first open tournament will officially begin on April 12, and then there are the Challenges expected to start in June, and the Masters to be held in March 2023. Mobile esports tournaments with a total prize pool of $2 million are expected to be held in North America, Europe, the Middle East, China and Asia Pacific.
Snapdragon Pro series events are expected to be held in North America, Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, China, Asia Pacific, and India. Players over 16 years old can sign up for Snapdragon Pro series events and will use mobile devices designed by Snapdragon Elite Gaming as event equipment, advertised as being able to correspond to higher computing performance and high-speed network connection effects and to play a role as a desktop computer like game experience.
At the same time, Qualcomm and ESL Gaming will also hold challenges and masters in the form of physical competitions, will invite audiences to watch the game in person, and will also broadcast the current state of the game through Twitch, YouTube, and other channels.
Qualcomm also explained that each region competes to use the game, as follows:
- Brawl Stars: As the Snapdragon Mobile Masters title across the NA, EUR/MENA, and AP regions, the top-down Hero Brawler will see the most elite players competing at the epic live Snapdragon Mobile Masters final event.
- Clash of Clans: As part of the Snapdragon Mobile Challenge Season 1, competitors in NA and EUR/MENA will be able to battle it out for both the Snapdragon Pro Series title and a coveted “Golden Ticket”, allowing them to advance to the Clash of Clans World Championship later this year.
- Free Fire: Players of the famous mobile battle royale game from the AP region have a chance to show off their skills in the Snapdragon Mobile Challenge.
- League of Legends: Wild Rift: The mobile experience of the famous 5v5 MOBA will make its appearance in AP as the region’s best players will enter the stage during the Snapdragon Mobile Challenge.
