Predator BiFrost & Nitro: Acer’s Latest Radeon RX 7900 Contenders
Acer has announced the launch of new additions to its BiFrost and Nitro series of Radeon graphics cards, introducing the Predator BiFrost AMD Radeon RX 7900 GRE OC 16GB and the Nitro AMD Radeon RX 7900 GRE OC 16GB. These two models enhance Acer’s lineup of AMD graphics cards.
The Predator BiFrost AMD Radeon RX 7900 GRE OC 16GB features dimensions of 281.9 x 117.9 x 61.4 mm, a triple-slot thickness, and utilizes dual 8Pin power connectors, mirroring the specifications of the previous RX 7800 XT model. It boasts a streamlined design, crafted with precision engineering, and equipped with a formidable cooling system. This includes three Predator FrostBlade 3.0 fans, a unique circular design, and wave-patterned blades to augment airflow, complemented by an efficient heat spreader for rapid dissipation of heat. The gaming and boost clock speeds are 2050 MHz and 2395 MHz, respectively.
For display outputs, it provides one HDMI 2.1 port and three DisplayPort 2.1 ports. Additionally, players can fine-tune the graphics card’s parameters using the Predator BiFrost Utility app, such as adjusting the fan speed to the desired setting.
The Nitro AMD Radeon RX 7900 GRE OC 16GB adopts a dual-fan cooling design, featuring Nitro FrostBlade circular fans. The use of dual ball bearings helps in reducing noise and wear, while a reinforced copper base enhances heat absorption and extends the device’s longevity. Its gaming and boost clock speeds are also set at 2050 MHz and 2395 MHz, matching those of the BiFrost series GPU.
Details regarding the market availability and pricing of these graphics cards remain unspecified.
