Philips has announced the launch of its new 49B2U5900CH monitor. Tailored for office professionals seeking to boost productivity in the workplace, and equally fitting for home-office users who require highly collaborative products, it stands as an ideal office companion.
As reported by TechPowerUp, the 49B2U5900CH maintains the design ethos of its Philips series counterparts, featuring a sleek triple-sided ultra-narrow bezel. It boasts a 48.8-inch VA curved display, offering a 178-degree viewing angle both horizontally and vertically. With a color depth of 10-bit, an aspect ratio of 32:9, a resolution of 5120 x 1440, a refresh rate of 75Hz, a brightness of 400 nits, and a contrast ratio of 3000:1, this monitor promises vivid imagery. Its color performance impresses with 119% sRGB and 97% NTSC color gamut coverage, backed by VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification. Moreover, it has received TÜV Rheinland’s EyeSafe certification, ensuring a comfortable viewing experience even over extended periods. The monitor is equipped with a 5MP Busylight webcam, supports Windows Hello, and can sync with Microsoft Teams status, delivering a seamless video calling experience.
