Philips announces the listing of 45B1U6900CH monitor
In February of this year, Philips released a 44.5-inch commercial monitor called the 45B1U6900CH. It features a pop-up webcam and is intended to help professionals with multitasking, streamline workflows, and increase productivity. At the time, however, Philips did not provide a release date or specific pricing.
According to TechPowerup, Philips has announced that the 45B1U6900CH monitor is now available for purchase at a price of £1029.99.
The 45B1U6900CH monitor features a 44.5-inch VA curved screen with a 32:9 aspect ratio, a resolution of 5120 x 1440, a refresh rate of 75Hz, a curvature of 1500R, a GTG response time of 4ms, a maximum brightness of 450 nits, a static contrast ratio of 3000:1, an sRGB color gamut of 123%, and a DCI-P3 color gamut of 107%. It has also passed VESA DisplayHDR 400 and TUV Rheinland certification and supports Adaptive-Sync technology.
Unlike the previous 45B1U6900C, the 45B1U6900CH comes with a pop-up webcam with a 5MP resolution and a noise-canceling microphone. It has been optimized to provide a high-quality video conferencing experience and supports the Windows Hello feature, which allows users to log into their Windows account in a matter of seconds using facial recognition sensors.
In terms of connectivity, the 45B1U6900C monitor offers two HDMI 2.0 ports, one DP1.4 port, two USB Type-C ports (with 100W power delivery and DisplayPort Alt support), a gigabit Ethernet port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. It also comes with dual 5W speakers and a built-in hub that provides one USB Type-B upstream port and four USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A downstream ports.
The 45B1U6900C monitor comes with an ergonomic adjustable stand that supports +/-45° rotation and -5~15° tilt adjustment. Additionally, there is an extendable hook on the left side of the display for hanging headphones.
