openSUSE voting result: doesn’t change its name
Recently, openSUSE considers independence from SUSE, the main focus of the openSUSE project is to obtain greater autonomy in terms of its governance interaction with the wider community, followed by a discussion of whether the project is carried out accordingly renamed.
The final result of the vote has come out, and most people think that they do not agree to change its name:
42 people agreed to change their name, but up to 225 people thought that they did not need to change their name. It should be mainly considering that the name openSUSE has become a well-known brand, and the name change may bring corresponding damage to its development.
