OneXPlayer 2 pre-orders open on November 25
Onebook recently announced that OneXPlayer 2 will start accepting pre-orders on November 25th and will be officially released in 2023. The biggest feature of OneXPlayer 2 is that it adopts a detachable handle, similar to Nintendo Switch, and supports multiplayer game mode.
In terms of configuration, OneXPlayer 2 will have two versions: AMD Ryzen 6800U and Intel 13th generation Core i7 mobile processor. At present, the 13th-generation Core mobile processor has not been officially released yet. It is reported that it may be released this year. A number of notebooks equipped with the 13th-generation Core mobile processor have been exposed. Ryzen 6800U is designed with eight cores and sixteen threads, with a TDP of 15-28W, an L3 cache of 16MB, a maximum acceleration frequency of 4.7GHz, and a Radeon 680M integrated graphic with RDNA2 architecture. Radeon 680M has 12 sets of CUs, which is better than the custom core display of eight sets of CUs on Steam Deck. At present, Ryzen 6800U has been used by many handhelds.
OneXPlayer 2 uses a 2.5K resolution touchscreen that supports 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity. The handheld also supports a magnetic keyboard, plus the design of a detachable handle. The official said that OneXPlayer 2 integrates a handheld, a tablet, and a notebook. OneXPlayer 2 supports dual speakers and is equipped with a battery with a capacity of 65.5Wh.
