OnePlus officially released Concept One phone with a hidden rear camera design
In recent years, we have seen many smartphone manufacturers design hidden fronts cameras, such as Vivo NEX, Oppo Find X, and SAMSUNG Note 10, but everyone seems to forget to design the rear. At today’s CES 2020, OnePlus announced its latest concept phone Concept One. This concept phone is the hidden camera on its back.
Speaking of it, you may not believe that the cooperation between OnePlus and McLaren sports car is really not just the “OEM + large memory storage + high price” model of other manufacturers, but it does get from McLaren sports car. Inspired by the Concept One design, McLaren ’s luxury sports car allows car owners to adjust the transparency of the sunroof glass. This is because the sunroof glass is made of electrochromic glass. This color-changing material can be stabilized and reversible by applying an electric field. Color change phenomenon, so that users can freely control the transparency of the product. OnePlus officially used this color-changing material as the lens backplate, thus realizing this hidden rear camera design.
When you use the rear camera to take pictures, the cover will become transparent, and when you do not use the rear camera, the cover will return to black. Some users may feel that this function will bring additional power consumption, but OnePlus said that this function will only consume a small amount of power, and at the same time the transparency switching speed only takes 0.7 seconds, and the change length is only 0.05mm.
