Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 12GB will not have Founders Edition
Previously, Nvidia confirmed the upcoming GeForce RTX 2060 12GB through the GeForce Game Ready 497.09 WHQL driver and the official website page. Information about this graphics card came out in September this year. Because it is a product based on the old architecture, NVIDIA did not make big publicity. In addition to updating the official information, it only issued a brief statement to the media.
GeForce RTX 2060 12GB TU106 GPU based on Turing architecture, manufactured with 12nm process, with 2176 CUDA cores. The base frequency is 1470 MHz, and the acceleration frequency is 1650 MHz, which is the same as GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER. Its video memory bit width is 192 bits, equipped with 12GB of GDDR6 video memory, the speed is 14 Gbps, the video memory bandwidth is 336GB/s, and the TDP is 185W.
NVIDIA initially showed that there will be “Founders Edition” on the official introduction interface. This is good news for consumers, which means that it is possible to purchase this product with MSRP through Nvidia’s own online store or designated partners. However, Nvidia has now deleted the “Founders Edition” part. After TechPowerup contacted Nvidia to confirm the relevant situation, GeForce RTX 2060 12GB will only be sold through custom designs by partners.
Although it has been rumored that GeForce RTX 2060 12GB will be officially launched on December 7th this year, no manufacturer has shown this product so far.
