Average prices for both Nvidia GeForce RTX 30-series and AMD Radeon RX 6000-series graphics cards have slipped since entering 2022, according to graphics card price trends compiled by 3DCenter. The latest issue of graphics card price trends shows that both Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 30 series and AMD’s Radeon RX 6000 series have dropped to their lowest levels since January 2021.

Compared to about three weeks ago, some high-end graphics cards have dropped by as much as 100 euros. Combined with recent exchange rate changes, graphics card prices are even lower than they were in January 2021, and GPU supply is also much better than last year. The overall premium for the AMD Radeon 6000 series is 35%, down ten percentage points from 45% last month. The overall premium of Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 30 series is 41%, compared with 57% last month.

In the AMD Radeon 6000 series, the average price of the Radeon RX 6800 is 63% higher than the manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP), which is the highest premium. The average price of the Radeon RX 6500 XT is 8% higher than the MSRP, which is the smallest premium. In the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 series, the average price of the GeForce RTX 3070 is 60% higher than the MSRP, which is the one with the highest premium. The average price of the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti is 16% higher than the MSRP, which is the smallest premium.

In addition to price, the data shows that the supply of graphics cards is also the best since the beginning of 2021 and continues to improve. Now, regardless of the North American market or the European market, each retailer has a large amount of stock. Especially in Europe, the supply is quite good, the only problem now is the price.
