Noctua postponed the release of the new NH-D15 and the white fan

Recently, Austrian radiator manufacturer Noctua has once again updated its product roadmap for 2022. At the beginning of the year, according to the originally announced plan, Noctua should launch the high-profile white version of the cooling fan in the fourth quarter of 2022, as well as the next-generation NH-D15 air-cooled radiator. This is disappointing news for many consumers who are looking forward to a new generation of NH-D15 air-cooled radiators and a white version of the cooling fan.

If you compare the last product roadmap, you will find that the products originally released in the second, third, and fourth quarters of 2022 are almost all delayed by a quarter. The products that can basically be released as planned this year seem to be only the NH-D12L low-height dual-tower CPU cooler that has just been launched, and the cooler used by Intel’s next-generation Xeon processors in the third quarter of 2022.

According to Noctua’s product roadmap plan last year, the new generation of NH-D15 air-cooled radiators will be released in the second quarter of 2022, but it has been delayed by almost a year. Noctua introduced the NH-D15 air-cooled radiator in 2014, replacing the NH-D14 introduced in 2009, and added the chromax.black model in 2019. According to Noctua, the delay is due to “various reasons such as further research and development, fine-tuning, manufacturing capacities or coordination with other projects.”
