MSRP for Radeon RX 7700 and Radeon RX 7800 is tentatively expected to be $449 and $549
Recent reports indicate that AMD has successfully concluded the development of Navi 32, additionally providing the fundamental drivers. Rumors suggest that Radeon RX 7800 and Radeon RX 7700 are set to make their debut at the International Games Expo in Cologne, Germany, scheduled for August 23 to 27, 2023, with AMD potentially choosing to release these novelties in September.
Twitter user @All_The_Watts disclosures from users recently suggest that the Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) for Radeon RX 7700 and Radeon RX 7800 is tentatively expected to be $449 and $549, respectively. Given that the official launch is still weeks away, AMD may yet revise these prices.
The Internet has recently seen preliminary 3DMark Time Spy scores for the Radeon RX 7700 and Radeon RX 7800, scoring 15465 and 18197 respectively. The Radeon RX 7700’s score falls between the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti and RTX 4070, outperforming the Radeon RX 6700 XT. Meanwhile, the Radeon RX 7800’s score is nestled between the GeForce RTX 4070 and RTX 4070 Ti, approximating the performance level between the Radeon RX 6800 and RX 6800 XT.
The Radeon RX 7800, equipped with Navi 32, is presumed to have all its computing units fully enabled, featuring 60 CUs, equating to 3840 stream processors. It is outfitted with a 64MB Infinity Cache, accompanied by a 16GB GDDR6 graphics memory, sporting a 256-bit memory bandwidth, a memory speed of 19.5 Gbps, and a total card power consumption of 260W. The Radeon RX 7700, loaded with a reduced Navi 32, may have between 48 and 54 CUs, with a reduced graphics memory of 12GB, a memory bandwidth of 192-bit, and a memory speed of 19.5 Gbps. AMD also has a downsized version of the Navi 31 chip, which may be equipped with 70 CUs, although it is currently unclear for which product it will be specifically utilized.
