MSI will launch Radeon RX 7900 series non-public graphics cards in Q1 2023
AMD’s new generation of Radeon RX 7900 XTX and Radeon RX 7900 XT graphics cards based on RDNA 3 architecture GPUs went on sale on December 13, 2022. At present, you can see non-public graphics cards of brands such as ASUS, Sapphire, PowerColor, and Biostar.
Some players may be surprised that, as one of the largest graphics card manufacturers, MSI’s Radeon RX 7900 series graphics cards have not been seen so far. Even though the non-public graphics cards of some manufacturers are not yet on the market, they have already released or displayed related products. You must know that ASUS not only released the Radeon RX 7900 TUF Gaming series of non-public graphics cards for the first time but also went on sale on December 13th.
According to HardwareLuxx, MSI has confirmed to its staff that the Radeon RX 7900 series graphics cards will be launched soon, but they will not be released until the first quarter of 2023. They are all customized non-public designs and will not be OEM public graphics cards. While it’s not surprising that MSI released the Radeon RX 7900 series of graphics cards, it’s a little surprising that it’s been so long behind other manufacturers, and it hasn’t been the case in the past.
MSI did not release the Radeon RX 7900 series graphics cards this time as expected and did not even disclose the renderings. It is likely that the design has changed a lot compared with past products, which has caused the entire project to be delayed and is still under development. Perhaps the supply of Navi 31 GPU is not so abundant, which is also one of the reasons for MSI to postpone the release. For players interested in buying MSI Radeon RX 7900 series graphics cards, it may have to wait for a while.
