MSI released two CMP 30HX mining cards
After other board card manufacturers successively released CMP 30HX mining cards, MSI finally released its own CMP 30HX mining cards. This is the first time that MSI has released CMP HX series products. Like other manufacturers, we have not yet seen CMP 40HX related products. According to Nvidia, CMP 40HX and CMP 30HX should be products launched simultaneously.
There are two types of CMP 30HX mining cards launched by MSI, both of which belong to the MINER series. However, there is no separate heat dissipation system. Both mining cards are “borrowed” heat dissipation solutions from other MSI product lines. They are the VENTUS XS series and the ARMOR series. This is also the common practice of board card manufacturers at present, which can reduce costs. Since the specifications of CMP 30HX are not high, the volume of the board will not be too large.
Both mining cards are equipped with Turing architecture TU116-100 core, which is the same as GeForce GTX 1660 Super. It has 1408 CUDA cores, base frequency is 1530MHz, acceleration frequency is 1785MHz, 6GB GDDR6 192-bit memory is configured, and the memory speed is 14Gbps.
These specifications are consistent with similar ASUS products, and there is also no display output. MSI did not specify how long the warranty period is. Similar products from other manufacturers generally only provide a three-month warranty.
