Intel Alder Lake-S appeared in the CapFrameX

Some time ago, there was news that Intel has informed its partners that it plans to release the 12th generation Core system processor, which is the long-rumored Alder Lake-S, in November 2021. As the first desktop platform x86 processor with big.LITTLE hybrid architecture, Alder Lake-S is also Intel’s first desktop processor based on the 10 nm SuperFin process, which has always attracted attention from all parties.

Recently, Alder Lake-S appeared in the CapFrameX test database with 8GB×4 DDR5 memory at a frequency of 4800MHz. At the same time, it was tested with Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 graphics card. CapFrameX will not record the detailed specifications of all test hardware but will record performance data and related sensor data, so only know the test content but not the detailed information of the processor, only know that its frequency is 2.2 GHz, which is an engineering sample.

The result of the test shows that in the game DOTA2, its score is 119.98 frames per second. However, because I don’t know the relevant settings in the game, I know that this result is not very useful.
