MSI Radeon RX 6600 XT Gaming X has been sold on Newegg
On July 30, 2021, AMD officially released the Radeon RX 6600 XT on Chinajoy. The official suggested retail price is $379. It will go on sale on August 11. This is the cheapest RDNA 2 architecture graphics card on the desktop platform at this stage. In addition, the Navi 23 core is positioned for the mainstream market and has attracted the attention of many players.
After the official suggested retail price of the Radeon RX 6600 XT was announced, many players thought its positioning was slightly higher. However, in view of the unstable supply of graphics cards and the high price, it would be very good if one could be purchased at a price close to the official recommended retail price.
Recently, third-party sellers on Newegg have begun to sell MSI Radeon RX 6600 XT Gaming X (currently out of stock), and the price has reached $1099.99. Even if it belongs to the Gaming X series product line with relatively high positioning, the official price of MSI may be higher than $379, but the price is too high.
Previously, PowerColor’s three Radeon RX 6600 XT graphics cards (belonging to Fighter, Hellhound, and Red Devil series) appeared on the website of New Zealand retailer PBTech. The prices displayed were all 1248.99 New Zealand dollars (including 15% tax), which is about $869, which is also much higher than the official recommended retail price. Some European retailers expect that the actual price is between 499 and 549 euros, which seems to be closer to consumer expectations.
