MSI launches MAG Trident S 5M cloud gaming machine
MSI announced the launch of the MAG Trident S 5M cloud gaming machine, a machine optimized for cloud gaming and mobile gaming. Its design is different from traditional desktops, and it is aimed at players who enjoy gaming in the living room. The Android system emulator and 30-day free Xbox Game Pass Ultimate can be activated through MSI’s exclusive Game Stadium app, use the controller to play mobile games on the couch, or access games and other entertainment software in the cloud.
In MSI’s view, its exclusive application allows players to simulate the Android system in the Windows system and experience the mobile phone with a larger screen, which is one of the important selling points of the MAG Trident S 5M. In addition, players can use the multi-function manager function to open different games in different windows, and even enable joystick mode in some games, allowing players to use the same joystick to operate. If you are a PC player, you can also play games in a large screen mode on Steam. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate has the same operating mode, perfect for a variety of games.
The MAG Trident S 5M adopts a minimalist design element, with an overall size of 334.7 X 185.4 x 93 mm, and is equipped with an AMD Ryzen 5000G series APU in a 2.6L body. The AMD Ryzen7 5700G with up to 8 cores and 16 threads can be configured with FidelityFX Super Resolution, and the number of game frames can even be increased by 2.4 times. MSI MAG Trident S 5M is equipped with two sets of PCIe 3.0 SSDs and a 2.5-inch hard drive installation for players to store more games and files. Just remove one screw, players can upgrade the accessories of the whole host, which is very convenient. However, there is no space for adding a discrete graphics card inside, and there is also a lack of room for graphics performance upgrades in the future.
