MSI is rolling out new BIOS for 600 series motherboards
ASRock and Asus have already started releasing new versions of the BIOS to allow 600-series motherboards to support Intel’s upcoming desktop processors, the 13th-generation Core codenamed Raptor Lake. Recently, MSI has also followed the rhythm of other motherboard manufacturers, and gradually provided a new version of the BIOS for its 600 series motherboards. The first batch of motherboards involved covers the Z690, B660, and H610 chipsets.
MSI will provide a new version of the BIOS for the remaining 600-series motherboards in the coming weeks, ahead of Intel’s next-generation Raptor Lake processors. Compared with ASUS’s first motherboards that provide the new BIOS only limited to Z690 motherboards, MSI covers high-end Z690, mainstream B660, and entry-level H610 motherboards, which are more comprehensive.
