MSI Introduces GeForce RTX 3060 Ti SUPER 3X
MSI announces the launch of the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti SUPER 3X graphics card. Both the product name and design, as well as the timing of its release, render the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti SUPER 3X somewhat awkward. MSI has already listed this graphics card on its website for certain regions, suggesting that it may only be available in select areas rather than globally.
The GeForce RTX 3060 Ti SUPER 3X is equipped with the new version of the RTX 3060 Ti, supporting GDDR6X memory, and utilizes the TriFrozr SUPRIM cooling solution. The PCB design is identical to that of the RTX 3070 SUPRIM, signifying that MSI has repurposed the same cooling module and PCB to construct this product.
The graphics card employs the Tri Frozr 2S cooling system, three sixth-generation Torx Fan 4.0 blade fans, and an innovative circular fan blade design. It features a nickel-plated copper base, dual BIOS functionality, and Mystic Light RGB lighting. MSI Center software enables real-time monitoring, optimization adjustments, and personalized lighting effects settings, as well as synchronization with other MSI RGB devices.
The GPU clock of the MSI GeForce RTX 3060 Ti SUPER 3X is identical to that of the MSI GeForce RTX 3060 Ti G6X GAMING X TRIO, with a boost clock of 1845 MHz, surpassing the 1665 MHz of the reference model. The GDDR6X memory runs at a rate of 19 Gbps, and with a 256-bit memory bus width, it provides a memory bandwidth of 608 GB/s, on par with the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti. The display output configuration is standard, offering three DisplayPort 1.4a ports and one HDMI 2.1 port. Additionally, the graphics card features dual 8-pin external power connectors, with a total card power consumption of 265W.
