MSI brings MPG 321URX gaming monitor
MSI recently announced the launch of six QD-OLED gaming monitors, spanning a range from 27 to 49 inches and falling under the MPG and MAG series. This lineup includes two curved and four flat-screen models. Among them, the MPG 321URX has discreetly made its appearance on MSI’s official website, revealing its complete specifications.
The MPG 321URX features a sleek, three-sided narrow bezel design, equipped with a 31.5-inch Samsung QD-OLED panel. It boasts a 10-bit color depth, 178-degree viewing angles (both horizontally and vertically), a resolution of 3840 x 2160, a refresh rate of 240Hz, and an extraordinarily swift response time (GtG) of 0.03ms. The monitor’s peak brightness is 250 nits, with a dynamic contrast ratio of 150,000:1. It covers 99% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, 97% of Adobe RGB, and 138% of sRGB, supporting Adaptive-Sync and certified with ClearMR 13000 and DisplayHDR True Black 400.
Connectivity-wise, the MPG 321URX is well-equipped with two HDMI 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4, a multifunctional USB-C port (compatible with DisplayPort Alt-Mode and offering 90W PD reverse power supply), and an audio jack. It also functions as a USB hub, featuring two USB 2.0 ports. The ergonomic stand offers adjustable height (0 to 110mm), horizontal swivel (-30° to 30°), tilt (-5° to 20°), and pivot (-10° to 10°) adjustments.
MSI asserts that QD-OLED represents a significant advancement over traditional OLED technology, both in technical and quality aspects. Compared to standard OLEDs, QD-OLED displays more realistic and accurate colors, excelling in brightness and dark scene performance. With the integration of quantum dot technology, QD-OLED offers a broader color spectrum and higher color purity, accurately reproducing a wider range of colors for enhanced digital imagery and video playback.
In this new line of QD-OLED gaming monitors, MSI has also upgraded to OLED Care 2.0, enhancing screen protection optimization to reduce the risk of panel damage during prolonged use. The monitors feature a fanless design, utilizing the excellent thermal conductivity of graphene for more efficient and quieter cooling, further extending the lifespan of the QD-OLED panels. Additionally, they are equipped with MSI G.I. intelligent software and fully support MSI’s desktop mode.
