Mozilla introduces Firefox Private Replay plug-in to keep your email safe from hackers and trackers
Mozilla, which is dedicated to privacy and protection, is currently testing a new project, which is still set up to protect user privacy and avoid intrusion.
This new project is called the Firefox Private Replay. Its main feature is that it can generate a completely random virtual mailbox for users to register and use.
For example, when a website needs to be registered through a mailbox, this function can be used to generate a virtual mailbox, and new mail will be forwarded to the user’s real mail through Firefox.
If the website sells user information or unfortunately is hacked and leaks user data, it does not matter, because the user can disable this mailbox every minute.
Therefore, whether it is fraudulent emails, phishing emails or advertising emails can be blocked, and users do not have to use and worry about their mailboxes being leaked.
Firefox Private Replay function currently only invites some users for testing. It is still in the early stage of development and testing and has not been officially released.
Firefox browser said that its team is still committed to the development of the project, if it goes well, it will be tested on relay.firefox.com later this year. After the official release, the Firefox browser will integrate this function.
