Most of the new works will be on the Xbox platform

In the wake of Sony announcing numerous upcoming titles for the PlayStation 5, PlayStation VR2, and PC platform during their PlayStation Showcase livestream, Microsoft’s Xbox followed suit via their official Twitter account, stating that many of the newly announced games will also grace the Xbox platform.

According to Microsoft’s Xbox official Twitter account, a variety of games including “Immortals Of Aveum,” “Ghostrunner 2,” “Marathon,” “Metal Gear Solid,” “Dragon’s Dogma 2,” “Alan Wake 2,” “The Plucky Squire,” “Teardown,” “Assassin’s Creed Mirage,” “Neva,” “Cat Quest,” and “The Talos Principle 2” will be made available on the Xbox platform.

However, several titles developed by Sony’s game studios or exclusively tied to the PlayStation platform such as “Marvel’s Spider-Man 2,” “Final Fantasy 16,” “Phantom Blade Zero,” “Ultros,” and “Revenant Hill,” will not see a release on the Xbox platform.

Following Sony’s announcement of numerous new games, Microsoft plans to host the Xbox Games Showcase summer gaming event at 10 AM Pacific Time on June 11. This event aims to reveal the lineup for the Xbox and Windows PC platforms, also unveiling numerous games that will be available on the Xbox Game Pass subscription service on the day of their release.

Barring unforeseen circumstances, the announcement is expected to feature a new science fiction title “Starfield,” with Bethesda set to reveal more game information, including developer interviews and behind-the-scenes content.
