Modern File Explorer will be available on Windows 10X RTM
There has been much news about the new version of File Explorer, but sometimes the disappointment may be even greater if you expect too much, such as this time.
There have been rumors that Microsoft may re-develop a modern File Explorer. In fact, there is indeed a development but not for Windows 10.
From the current known news, the new version of File Explorer is mainly pre-installed in the Windows 10X version, and the Windows 10 version for the desktop will not get the new version of the manager for the time being.
The modern File Explorer is developed using Microsoft’s fluent design system, so it is flat, but the traditional version of the File Explorer has more functions.
Microsoft may integrate OneDrive cloud storage into File Explorer, allowing users to get a better experience when using cloud storage and files.
Although we have some expectations, if only this modern version of the file explorer may not be able to meet the needs of use, after all, the new version has some features.
This is not a big problem for users of the Windows 10X version. After all, this version is mainly for primary or middle school students in the education market.
It is worth noting that some developers have indicated that they will try to extract the modern version of the resource manager to see if it can be used on the regular version of Windows 10.
