Minisforum will launch a new mini PC with Ryzen 9 5900X & Dedicated GPU

As a manufacturer of mini consoles, Minisforum has launched a variety of products based on Intel and AMD platforms. Restricted by the size of the mini host, under normal circumstances, it is mainly focused on display. Even if there is EliteMini CR50 which is equipped with a unique display model, it is only due to the lack of graphics unit in the AMD 4700S kit, which is equipped with an entry-level AMD Radeon RX 550 graphics card.

According to TechPowerup, MinisForum will launch a mini host with AMD B550 chipset and PCIe 4.0 SSD. The overall size is 16.65 x 15.8 x 6.7 cm. This mini PC will be equipped with AMD Ryzen series CPU and APU, including Ryzen 5 5600X and Ryzen 9 5900X, and Ryzen 5 5600G and Ryzen 7 5700G. Since the Ryzen series CPU is not equipped with a graphics unit, a graphics card needs to be installed separately. But Minisforum did not disclose how to install on the corresponding model or a special design.

In addition, this mini PC is equipped with a 2.5 GbE Ethernet card, four USB 3.0 Type-A ports, two USB Type-C ports, and two HDMI ports, one DisplayPort port, and an independent headphone/microphone jack. At the same time, the mini PC will be equipped with a 120 W to 1000 W charger and use liquid metal to enhance heat dissipation efficiency, similar to HX90 and HM90.

Compared with other mini PCs in MinisForum in the past, the performance limit of this product will be higher, and the top configuration should be stronger. Since you can choose AMD Ryzen series CPU or APU, install a discrete graphics card, and the power of the whole machine is between 120W and 1000W, users should have a lot of room for configuration choices to meet the performance needs of different user groups.
