Minisforum announced the launch of the HX90G mini PC and started pre-sale. It is equipped with an AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX processor with a boost clock of 4.6GHz, plus a Navi 23-based AMD Radeon 6600M discrete graphics card (with 8GB of GDDR6 memory), making it one of the most powerful mini PCs.

HX90G mini PC is equipped with two DDR4 memory slots (SO-DIMM), supporting a maximum of 64GB of memory; one M.2 2280 slot supporting PCIe 3.0 x4, and one M.2 2280 slot (supporting NGFF SATA or PCIe 3.0 x4) are reserved for users to expand storage; M.2 2230 slot supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth modules; has a 2.5Gbps network card. It can support four 4K@60Hz display outputs, equipped with two HDMI ports and two DP ports; three USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, one USB 3.1 Gen 1 port, and one USB-C port; the operating system supports Windows 11 Pro / Linux / Ubuntu.
The HX90G mini PC features a new body design with overall dimensions of 205 x 69 x 203 mm. It is equipped with seven heat pipes, including three for the CPU and four for the GPU. It is also equipped with dual smart fans inside. Both the CPU and the GPU use liquid metal to conduct heat. According to Minisforum, the excellent heat dissipation design allows the HX90G to maintain a relatively low level of noise even when it is running at full load. The power consumption of the CPU and GPU under 100% full load is 50W and 100W respectively.
The basic model of the HX90G mini PC is a barebones system. Users can install the memory and SSD by themselves. In addition, a 48mm high bracket is included, and the price is $799. Minisforum also provides products with installed memory and SSD, which are 16GB RAM+ 512GB SSD ($909), 32GB RAM+ 512GB SSD ($969), and 64GB RAM+ 512GB SSD ( $1079) configuration.
