Grand Theft Auto VI gameplay leaks

Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA VI)  is a game that many players are looking forward to, and Rockstar Games has already confirmed that it is under development. However, this weekend, a large number of real machine demonstration videos suspected of GTA VI suddenly appeared on the Internet, a total of more than 90 videos, and even the source code was released, which exploded in the game industry and players.

On the GTA Forums, a user posted a 3GB file containing a large number of real-world demo videos, which it claims may “leak more data soon”, including GTA V and GTA VI footage and source code, and other information. At present, these leaked real machine demonstration videos have been spread on various video websites and various game forums.

It’s unclear how long ago these live demo videos were from since the platform seems to be running on a GeForce RTX 3060 Ti or RTX 3080 graphics card, therefore, these development versions should be within two years. In addition to the protagonist characters, the video also shows NPC interaction, UI interface, animation, etc., and even the internal debugging tool of GTA VI used by Rockstar Games on the PlayStation 5.

The Verge reached out to Take-Two for details of the incident but has yet to respond. However, Take-Two has begun to submit filing takedown requests on various platforms to delete the video involved in the “GTA VI” leak. This isn’t the first time a Rockstar Games game, like Red Dead Redemption 2, has been leaked.
