Microsoft withdraws from the CES 2022 exhibition

Microsoft announced that due to the epidemic, it will withdraw from the CES 2022 offline exhibition and will hold all displays and keynote speeches online. This makes Microsoft one of many large companies that have decided not to participate in the CES 2022 offline exhibition.

In an emailed statement, a Microsoft spokesperson said:

After reviewing the latest data on the rapidly evolving COVID environment, Microsoft has decided not to participate in-person at CES 2022.

Instead, the technology giant will have a digital presence for both the Microsoft Partner Innovation Experience and Automotive Press Kit.

At present, including Microsoft, at least 40 companies have withdrawn from the physical exhibition of CES 2022, including Google, GM, Lenovo, T-Mobile, Amazon, Meta (formerly Facebook), Intel, Twitter, etc. Well-known technology companies all expressed concern about the impact of the epidemic.

Although the CES organizers currently require on-site participants to complete vaccination and recommend COVID-19 testing, and at the same time provide a quick test area on site, it is still unknown how many exhibitors will eventually be.
