Microsoft: Windows 11 will be provided in light mode by default
The dark mode in the Windows 11 system is liked by many beta users because the dark mode can better highlight the acrylic translucent effect and actually look better.
This is also true Microsoft said earlier that Windows 11 will be provided in dark mode by default, and the system will automatically use dark mode after users purchase the device.
Of course, users can also switch to the light mode and the theme or personalized wallpaper that matches the light color mode in the personalized settings according to their own needs.
However, the use of dark mode by default is also controversial, because the relatively low contrast of dark mode may cause some users to be unable to see clearly.
For example, it may be more difficult for the elderly to see the dark mode content clearly, so based on user feedback, Microsoft issued a new statement to explain the matter.
Microsoft issued a statement in response:
We are aware that inaccurate information about Windows 11 shipping in dark mode on by default to all commercial SKUs was recently shared and apologize for the confusion. As with all of our products, we will continue listening to customer feedback to ensure Windows 11 meets customers’ needs, wherever they are in their computing journey.
