Microsoft will open a new data center in Taiwan
According to a blog published by the Microsoft cloud computing team, Microsoft’s cloud computing platform Microsoft Azure will open a new data center in Taiwan to meet customer needs.
After the data center is opened, it will provide local consumers and enterprises with Azure, Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, and Power Platform services.
Enterprises can store static data through Microsoft’s cloud computing platform and obtain compliance certification. After certification, they can meet a wide range of industry and regulatory entity standards.
In fact, the focus of Microsoft’s establishment of this data center is to allow these large and medium-sized enterprises to migrate their traditional network infrastructure to Microsoft’s public cloud computing platform.
This can not only promote the digital transformation and technological innovation of enterprises in Taiwan but also bring objective business growth to Microsoft’s cloud computing business.
Microsoft said that the company has cooperated with many well-known local companies to provide customized solutions, including Acer, Asus, Chunghwa Telecom, Delta, and TSMC.
The CEO of Acer said that the cooperation with Microsoft can help the company achieve digital transformation through the cloud and fulfill its mission of breaking down barriers between people and technology.
Microsoft stated in its blog that the new data center will be the first to provide Microsoft Azure services, and then services such as Microsoft 365 will be available in succession.
