Microsoft releases limited-edition Xbox controller in collaboration with Paramount’s upcoming film

In an innovative promotional effort, Microsoft is launching a limited-edition Xbox controller in collaboration with Paramount’s upcoming film “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem,” set to premiere in the United States on August 2nd. This unique controller comes equipped with a built-in scent diffuser that emits the aroma of pizza.

Mirroring the protagonists of the “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” series – Donatello, Leonardo, Michelangelo, and Raphael – Microsoft is introducing four differently designed controllers. All variants share a unique feature: an affixed pizza symbol emanating a pizza fragrance.

Nevertheless, akin to previous collaborations with various film franchises where limited-edition consoles and accessories were launched, these exclusive Xbox controllers will not be available for purchase on the market. Instead, an opportunity to secure one lies in a lottery. Participants must follow the official Xbox Game Pass account on Twitter and retweet their posts before August 13th to enter the draw.

On another note, Microsoft is planning to host an experiential event at their Microsoft Experience Center on Fifth Avenue in New York on August 2nd. This event will grant players the chance to get up close and personal with the newly launched limited-edition Xbox controllers.
