Microsoft releases KB4577586 to remove pre-installed Adobe Flash Player
Earlier, we have mentioned that Microsoft will release an optional update before the end of 2020 to help users remove the Flash Player pre-installed in Windows 10.
The reason for the deletion is that this player will end its support at the end of the year and no longer provide any security updates, and various vulnerabilities in the player will also endanger system security.
The Adobe Flash Player pre-installed in Windows 10 does not support users to delete directly, so users cannot uninstall the software.
If you don’t need to use this player, you can delete it now. Installing the latest optional update system (KB4577586) released by Microsoft will automatically delete Adobe Flash Player.
Of course, users will not be able to use it after deletion. If you still need to use Adobe Flash Player in the IE browser, please do not delete it and keep it. If you need to use it again, you can install other versions of Adobe Flash Player.
Since the update is an optional update, the user cannot receive it directly from the system update, so the user must manually download the optional update of the corresponding version.
After downloading the independent update package and installing it, restart the system as prompted. After restarting, open the control panel, there is no Flash Player option in the control panel.
If there are still Flash Player related options in the control panel, it means that the installation is not successful, you can re-download the independent update package to reinstall and restart to confirm.
