Microsoft quietly deleted the Microsoft Surface Neo page
While smartphone manufacturers were keen on flexible screens and foldable devices before, notebook manufacturers such as Intel and Lenovo also conceived foldable dual-screen devices.
Microsoft is cooperating with these manufacturers to launch Windows 10X version to support these devices, the system can better support flexible screen or multi-screen series of devices.
And Microsoft itself is also developing a foldable dual-screen device Microsoft Surface Neo version, which was originally planned to be released together with Windows 10X.
This Microsoft device was originally planned to be launched during the Christmas holiday this year, of course, according to the original plan, the customized version of Windows 10X will also be launched during the Christmas holiday.
However, due to development schedule issues, Microsoft has postponed the release time of the Windows 10X version. It is still unknown when the official version will be released.
Even Microsoft has adjusted the positioning of this version, the original Windows 10X version was geared towards high-end dual-screen devices, but now it is now geared towards low-end educational devices.
Earlier, Microsoft also quietly deleted the release date of the Microsoft Surface Neo version on the official website, and the original wording that it would be launched during the Christmas holidays was deleted.
According to Neowin reports, Microsoft’s official page about the Microsoft Surface Neo version has disappeared. Clicking on the relevant link will directly jump to the Microsoft homepage.
Now Microsoft has deleted even the product promotion page. Microsoft has issued a statement to Neowin to say, “Earlier this year, we announced that we’re pausing development for Surface Neo. We do not have any updates to share at this time.”
