Microsoft pushes Windows 10 19H2 Build 18363.327 to Release Preview ring
Today Microsoft introduced the Windows 10 19H2 Build 18363.327 for Release Preview ring. When Microsoft first announced the Windows 10 19H2 feature update, it promised to release it periodically through cumulative updates every month. However, the company has not explicitly promised that the internal version number will remain unchanged.
Microsoft said the reason for the change in version number is to define it as a feature update. Interestingly, Brandon LeBlanc said in a blog post that if you are currently using a slow channel, you cannot switch to the Release Preview channel due to the different installation methods.
“For a small subset of Insiders (around 10%) in the Release Preview ring, we have enabled the “seeker” experience for 19H2. For these Insiders, if they go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update, they will see that there is a Windows 10, version 1909 update available. They will be able to choose to download and install this update on their PC. After the update finishes, they will be on 19H2 Build 18363.327.”
