Microsoft may remove Focus Inbox in Windows 10 Mail app
Focus Inbox is a key feature introduced by Microsoft on the entire platform. This feature uses machine learning algorithms to automatically read email content and learn user habits. When a message is considered important, it is placed in the Focused Inbox feature so that users do n’t have to waste time reading those secondary messages. Microsoft and Google launched the feature at about the same time, but it seems that Microsoft will first cancel this feature.
According to Italian technology blog Alumia, currently updating the Mail app in the Windows 10 beta can no longer find the focused inbox. After the update, all emails will no longer be distinguished but will be directly placed in the default inbox, and no settings related to focus inbox are found in the settings options. So it looks like Microsoft has removed this feature from the email app, but for the reason for the deletion, Microsoft hasn’t explained it in the official channels.
Fortunately, at least at this stage, this adjustment is only applicable to the mail app of Windows 10 Fast Ring channel, which is also a beta version. If this is not an error from Microsoft, then it is very likely that this feature will be completely removed, of course, it may be that Microsoft decided to delete it because it was used less.
