Microsoft is actively testing the CloudPC service

With the help of the cloud computing business, Microsoft has launched many cloud desktop services, including WVD virtual desktop services, but Microsoft seems to be developing more similar services.

Virtual desktop service is a service launched by Microsoft for enterprises. Enterprises only need to use remote desktops to connect to virtual desktops hosted in the cloud for office use.

The CloudPC service that Microsoft is developing should look similar to the virtual desktop service, but the service may also be available to consumers.

Presumably, this service may be provided for Windows 10X version users, who cannot use desktop software so they need to use cloud desktop.

At present, Microsoft has published more supporting documents about CloudPC on the documentation website, including descriptions of various interfaces and parameters to facilitate administrators to perform batch configuration.

For example, in educational institutions, network administrators can configure cloud desktops in batches for teachers to use, and teachers can run certain software that only has desktop versions on the cloud desktops.

At the same time, cloud desktop services are also provided to ordinary consumers. Consumers can open the service to purchase instances and then connect via remote desktop if necessary.

The medium configuration will include 2 vCPUs, 4GB of RAM, and 96GB SSD. Likewise, the heavy configuration will be powered by 2 vCPUs, 8GB of RAM, 96 GB SSD and it can be upgraded to the advanced version with up to 3 vCPUs and 8GB of RAM.
