Microsoft releases Microsoft Edge browser roadmap

Microsoft is still very concerned about the browser business. The current frequency of Microsoft browser changes is extremely high and the variety of new features can compete with Google Chrome.

Microsoft is also actively promoting some content that Google Chrome does not have. Recently, Microsoft is now preparing to launch a browser-specific roadmap page for ordinary consumers.

In fact, the Microsoft Edge browser has already had a roadmap that is only geared toward enterprises, but it may be more about enterprise security and deployment strategies.

These contents are incomprehensible and unnecessary for consumers, so now Microsoft has launched a Microsoft Edge roadmap for consumers so that we can quickly understand the development of new features.

Microsoft uses the release status, related tags, update time, and added date to mark the new roadmap page, and users can filter by specific categories.

The status is also divided into underdevelopment, upcoming, and launch status.

For example, the current function under development shown in the roadmap is to “Support TLS Token Binding for Policy-Configured Sites”, and the expected launch time is April 2021 (v90 version).

On the whole, this roadmap should be quite useful for interested consumers, unlike the Google browser that rarely releases a browser feature update log.
