Microsoft improves Windows 11 Network and internet setting
In the Windows 11 development version that was launched earlier, Microsoft mentioned a changelog. This change looks unremarkable but convenient for some users.
This is the optimization of the Airplane mode settings in the network settings. By default, when the user turns on the Airplane mode, all wireless network connections in the system will be disconnected.
For example, the Bluetooth connection will also be automatically disconnected, but even if the user is using a tablet computer equipped with Windows 11 in an airplane, it can also use Bluetooth to listen to music.
Therefore, when the Bluetooth is disconnected when the flight mode is turned on, the user needs to manually turn on the Bluetooth, and then reconnect their headphones or other Bluetooth devices.
Based on the inconvenience caused by the above functions to users, Microsoft optimized the network settings, and now Bluetooth and wireless network devices can automatically remember in Airplane mode.
For example, when the user turns on the flight mode, the system automatically disables the wireless network and Bluetooth, but the user manually turns on the wireless network and Bluetooth functions, it will automatically remember.
The wireless network and Bluetooth will not be turned off the next time the user turns on the Airplane mode again, at least for users who use Bluetooth devices, there is no need to manually operate each time.
This seems to be an unobtrusive feature, but the practicality is still very strong, but currently, this feature only supports the development version and does not support the official version of Windows 11.
To use this kind of function, you may need to wait for the Windows 11 22H2 version next fall. Of course, now Microsoft can fully test this kind of function.
