Microsoft Flight Simulator may support FSR 2.0
In the latest developer Q&A session, Asobo Studio said that Microsoft Flight Simulator will welcome DLSS support in July, and developer Asobo Studio is considering adding support for FSR 2.0 to it. As for the season series that more players care about, the developer said that this is a bit complicated and is still under study. Finally, the world’s largest An-225 transport aircraft may join Microsoft Flight Simulator in the future.
The claim that Microsoft Flight Simulator will join DLSS was actually reported earlier this year. Since Microsoft Flight Simulator itself has very high performance for computer hardware, players with a general configuration will have a relatively low frame rate when playing, so many players are looking forward to the addition of DLSS. Asobo Studio revealed that DLSS still has some problems to be solved in Microsoft Flight Simulator, such as screen material and water surface, so it should meet you in Sim Update 10, which is July.
If you remember, after AMD launched FSR 1.0 last year, the developers of Microsoft Flight Simulator stated that there were no plans to bring FSR into this simulator for the time being. This year, AMD is going to launch FSR 2.0. The official introduction will be much better than 1.0 in terms of picture quality. So will Asobo Studio consider adding FSR to Microsoft Flight Simulator now?
The developers say they are already working with AMD to bring FSR 2.0 to the game. However, compared to DLSS, FSR 2.0 may be added later, at least in Sim Update 10. Regardless, being able to choose between DLSS and FSR and which one you want to turn on is great for players.
At the end of the Q&A, Asobo Studio also brought exciting news for pilots, that is, the An-225, which was once the largest transport aircraft in the world, maybe added to Microsoft Flight Simulator in the future. A while ago, the only flyable An-225 in the world was destroyed, which is a pity for many people. Recently, An-225 manufacturer Antonov has conducted preliminary discussions with Asobo Studio to add the An-225 model to Microsoft Flight Simulator. At present, Asobo Studio and Antonov have not signed any agreement or contract. However, according to the content of the Q&A, it is very likely that Asobo Studio will put the high-precision model of the An-225 on the market in the game for sale, and the proceeds will be used to assist Antonov in the reconstruction of the An-225.
