Microsoft fixes the Thunderbolt BSOD issue in Windows 10 v2004
Earlier, Microsoft has confirmed in the announcement that some devices may have a blue screen of death after the user uses the Thunderbolt dock connector in Windows 10 v2004.
This problem is only probabilistic and not all users will encounter it, but if users encounter it, they will not be able to use the Thunderbolt dock because the blue screen of death bug will affect normal use every time.
At the same time, considering compatibility issues, Microsoft suspends updates to devices with Thunderbolt interfaces, that is, does not push the official version of Windows 10 v2004 updates to these users.
Microsoft has fixed this problem in the cumulative update released this month. Microsoft said that users can use the Thunderbolt dock normally after installing the latest cumulative update without getting the Thunderbolt BSOD issue.
This part of users who get the Thunderbolt BSOD issue should now be able to get the Windows 10 v2004 version update by clicking Check for update in the system update or use the Upgrade Assistant to update.
Of course, the new version may have other problems. It is recommended that users do not delete Windows.old after the upgrade, and roll back to the previous old version in time if problems are found.
