Microsoft Edge Dev, Beta, and Stable will be suspended update for two weeks
Today, the Microsoft Edge development team says that it will temporarily stop updating for two weeks, including the stable version, beta version, and development version.
The Canary version will continue to be updated for the time being, and the suspension is not due to any special reason, only to synchronize the update schedule of the Chromium project.
Usually, the Google development team is suspended for a period of time each year to take a break, so Microsoft also synchronizes open source projects to keep updates suspended until Google resumes. Of course, strictly speaking, it is not two weeks but ten days. The stoppage time is from today to July 13th.
The development team said that they still want to hear everyone’s feedback even when they want to rest, so if you have any questions, you can leave a message to the development team in the technical community.
