Microsoft Edge Chromium adds Enable or Disable Reload in Internet Explorer mode
Due to the conversion of the Chromium kernel, the new version of the Edge browser is much better than the old version of the Edge browser in terms of performance and stability. Many people also immediately abandoned the Chrome browser and switched to the new version of the Edge browser.
However, even if Microsoft changes the Chromium kernel, it still has to face the problem that many ancient websites are not adapted to browsers other than Internet Explorer. This problem is not caused by browser manufacturers, but by the owners or all of many websites.
Recently, Microsoft also added the Enable or Disable Reload in Internet Explorer mode function to the new Edge browser to solve this problem. Users can now find “Allow sites to be reloaded in Internet Explorer mode” in Settings>Default browser>Internet Explorer compatibility, then open it, and in the menu in the upper right corner, open Settings and more > More tools > Reload in Internet Explorer mode to use this function.
This function is not just calling the IE kernel. When you enable IE mode, the new version of the Edge browser will automatically call all IE functions in the new version of the Edge browser that includes IE developer tools, ActiveX controls, etc.
