Microsoft Edge Canary supports the automatic generation of strong passwords
With the increase of network attacks, more and more websites have data leakage due to various reasons, and data leakage is extremely risky to users’ network assets.
Especially we use the same password on multiple websites, if the data of one of the websites is leaked, the data of all our websites may be threatened.
Therefore, Microsoft has previously emphasized that simply setting a password is not enough to defend against cyber threats. If possible, users should use multi-factor authentication tools.
Of course, at present, passwords are still an important part of the Internet. To solve the risk of data leakage, Microsoft has now supported the automatic generation of random passwords.
In the Microsoft Edge Canary version, the random password generator function has arrived, and users do not need to enable experimental options to use it.
When we register certain websites, click on the password bar and the browser will generate a strong password. Of course, the user needs to choose whether to use a random password.
When the user clicks the random password to confirm, the user account and password will be automatically saved to the cloud, and the user does not need to remember the password next time the browser will automatically fill it.
The randomly generated password is composed of uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols. Such a password brute force cracking time cost is extremely high, so there is no need to worry about security.
