Microsoft Defender for Endpoint supports Windows 10 ARM devices
Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, or endpoint protection software, is a comprehensive management software for enterprise device security launched by Microsoft for enterprise IT administrators.
The software can manage all devices in the corporate intranet in batches, including providing encryption, data protection, anti-virus, anti-malware, and detection and investigation functions.
At present, many companies have begun to use Microsoft endpoint protection software to resist potential advanced persistent threats and improve internal security.
It’s just that the software didn’t support Windows 10 ARM devices earlier, and such devices became an exception in the corporate intranet, making it impossible for administrators to manage such devices.
The Microsoft security team today announced that Microsoft Defender for Endpoint has arrived in the Windows 10 ARM version to manage such devices.
The company said that endpoint protection software is the industry’s leading cloud-based enterprise endpoint security platform, which can help companies better improve internal security.
For example, it can help companies prevent, detect, investigate, and respond to advanced threats while providing a safe and efficient end-user experience to improve employee office efficiency.
Now the endpoint protection software can be used on Windows 10 ARM devices, and the security management functions it provides are exactly the same as those provided on other versions.
At present, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint has covered multiple distributions of Windows 10, Windows 8.1, Windows 10, Linux, Android and macOS systems, etc.
