Microsoft brings more custom control to Windows 10 Virtual Desktops
Microsoft launched Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 21337 version, which is the version with the newest features and improvements. This article mainly talks about virtual desktop-related improvements.
If you are interested, you can install the Windows 10 Insider Preview version on a virtual machine to experience it. In principle, we do not recommend that you install the development version on a physical machine.
Based on user feedback, Microsoft has optimized the Virtual Desktops function, allowing users to customize the virtual desktop function more to improve efficiency.
Starting from this development version, the virtual desktop function supports reordering and customizing the background function for each virtual desktop, that is, you can select and set a custom wallpaper.
To use the sorting function, just use the left mouse button to hold down the virtual desktop and drag it. Right-click on the virtual desktop to select a custom wallpaper.
The essence of the virtual desktop function is to help users separate different tasks on the computer to improve work efficiency. In order to facilitate users to use Microsoft’s virtual desktop content exchange function in this update, you only need to drag the desktop to switch ownership in the virtual desktop.
These features are still under development by Microsoft, so if you use the virtual desktop and find problems, you can actively feedback to Microsoft to improve the feature.
Before now, the virtual desktop function also supports the use of Alt+Shift+left and right arrows to move quickly. Note that these functions are currently only available in the development test board.
