Microsoft Announces Windows 10 Version 21H2 Widely Available to Users
Windows 10 version 21H2 was released at the same time as Windows 11. Of course, everyone’s main focus is on the newly launched Windows 11. If the user is unwilling to upgrade to Windows 11 or the hardware resources do not support it, then upgrading to Windows 10 21H2 is a good choice. Now that this version has met Microsoft’s usability standards and is being rolled out widely, users who haven’t upgraded to Windows 11 can check for the upgrade.
In fact, if users actively check the upgrade, they should already be able to see the update, and now Microsoft has begun to actively push this version to users and perform the update. Microsoft said in a support document that Windows 10 version 21H2 is ready for widespread deployment, a statement that usually refers to reaching the GA stage. Now Microsoft is pushing to more users who haven’t upgraded to Windows 11, especially those devices whose hardware doesn’t meet system compatibility requirements. It is worth noting that this version itself does not have any new features, mainly including some security improvements and enterprise-oriented improvements such as printing service improvements.
In addition to the above changes, there are no other new features in the autumn update, and this new feature is still aimed at enterprises, and such updates are not worthy of attention for consumers. It’s just that the old Windows 10 version is gradually discontinuing support, so users must upgrade to the new version in time, otherwise, they will not be able to receive security updates in the future, which is easy to be exploited by hackers.
