Many anti-virus software will continue supporting Windows 7

After the end of support on January 14 this year, Windows 7 may become a target for hackers. Unless you can pay to join the Extended Security Update (ESU) program, you will no longer receive security updates from Microsoft for free. This means that if you continue to use Windows 7, without additional precautions, your PC will be very vulnerable.

For business users, you can receive security updates through a paid ESU project. But for ordinary users, only antivirus software can protect them.
