LG launches CineBeam Qube 4K quality projector
In anticipation of CES 2024, LG has unveiled a splendid array of innovations, including the avant-garde 2024 QNED TV series, the Gram series laptops joining the AI PC arena, and robots designed to assist in home care. Before the official commencement of CES 2024, LG has also revealed the MyView series of smart displays and the elegantly crafted CineBeam Qube 4K quality projector.
The MyView series of smart displays, a triumvirate of models, each boasts 4K resolution, DCI-P3 95% color gamut, and an IPS display panel. They conform to the HDR 10 display standard, feature a 60Hz refresh rate, and a minimal 5ms display delay. Additional specifications include support for dual HDMI outputs, AirPlay 2 and ScreenShare for screen sharing, built-in dual 5W speakers, and the webOS 23 operating system, complete with a remote control.
The primary distinction among these three models lies in variations in panel brightness, the number of built-in USB-C ports, total power wattage, and additional features like USB 2.0 support, built-in webcams, or the option for extra attachments.
Concurrently unveiled, the CineBeam Qube projector is a marvel of compact design, featuring a vintage aesthetic with a 360-degree rotating handle for ease of portability and adjustment. Despite its smaller size, it can project images up to 120 inches in 4K UHD resolution. Empowered by an RGB laser light source and LG’s refined imaging technology, the projector delivers sharp, clear images with a remarkable contrast ratio of 450,000:1 and a DCI-P3 wide color gamut of 154%.
Additionally, the CineBeam Qube enhances viewing experiences with true-to-life colors and deeper blacks for movie playback. It also boasts automatic image adjustment and focusing, ensuring optimal projection. The projector runs on webOS 6.0 and supports streaming services such as Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, and YouTube.
